That can be a lot of money to some people. You bypass all that. You typically only need a backpack. A telephone. Some business cards that you can get made for $10.00 for 500 cards. And your essentials for your trade.
Get you a brush, a comb and some Andis clippers. Or you can go with the Wahl clippers. As a matter a fact there are a number of different clippers and hair trimmers you can roll with. Beard kits complete with everything you need to fade beards on the go.
Get you some neck-strips, towels, a good razor and a cape and you all set. Throw your gear into your fly Hip Hop backpack and get ready to take over the hood. Start by passing out your business cards to friends and family. Soon calls will start coming in. And check this out. If your from a small city. You don’t even need a vehicle to get to your appointments, take the bus until you stack your loot.
Safety in the hood.
For all your baller dreams, there is one reality you have to face toe to toe. The ghetto can be a crusher of dreams. The inner-city is full of guns, drugs, and violence. You have to be very careful since your business is on the go.
You will be traveling to different parts of town. Some parts of town do not like OTHER parts of town. Pizza delivery guys get robbed on the regular, as does cab drivers. So don’t think for one second that somebody will not try to take your Hip Hop backpack with all your tools of your trade in it.

Drug addicts will stick you up quick in the hood. Stick-up kids that think you have a roll in your pocket will try to rob you too. It would be a shame after all your hard work to have some lazy clown come and try to take all your dreams away. I will not tell you to put something else in your bag. But I will tell you to put something else in your bag.
MOBILE BARBER IN THE HOOD SUCCESS.
Just keep grinding. Passing your cards out to anyone that will take them. Dropping your cards on every neighborhood corner store you find yourself in. Leave them even when you figure they might throw them in the trash as soon as you walk out, doesn’t matter.
Bug the hell out of all your friends. By now they know your ill with the cuts now anyway. Keep developing your skills. Soon you will see the loot start filling your pockets. Stay focused when the money starts coming in. With money comes problems. More money, more bills. Don’t indulge in anything that will sabotage all your hard work like alcohol and drugs.
Stay disciplined and you will soon have your own shop. Then you can look back at all your hard work and say, “I REMEMBER WHEN”!

You see that look of determination in his eyes. he sees you looking and immediately walks over and tries to hand you one of his business cards. Instead you hand him one of yours. You tell him you got a chair for him in your shop. And tell him the chair is free until he gets on his feet.
